Imagovisions’ Dragonfly

To respond to the COVID-19 health emergency, Imago Vision, together with the Copan Group, developed DragonFlyā„¢, a thermal imaging camera capable of detecting body temperature remotely and without contact.

The system was used at the Poliambulanza Foundation and the Spedali Civili di Brescia, where it helped screen people safely at the entrances of hospitals and other facilities.

Using infrared technology with automatic adaptation to ambient conditions and internal calibration, DragonFlyā„¢ can reliably detect body temperature for anyone who steps in front of the screen.

MiniDis supplied the Fitlet2, providing the reliable computing foundation that powers the DragonFlyā„¢ system. This collaboration demonstrates how embedded technology can deliver fast, practical solutions in urgent situations.
